  Everyone was so friendly and kind. So kind in fact, that I don't want to post a bad review however feel the need so that maybe they can make things better because I feel their goal is for quality care. I took our daughter there b/c it was after hours for her pediatrician. She had had a cold for little more than a week then woke up with extremely swollen glands. Her neck hurt to move and you could tell they were swollen without even feeling them. The Doctor that treated her even said "they are severely swollen". They checked her for strep after I had told them she had her tonsils out and hasn't had strep since and her throat didn't even hurt. We repeated that her throat didn't hurt on 4 different occasions. Her ears were stopped up but didn't hurt. Dr. said they definitely had fluid and one was a touch red. They ended up giving us a prescription to take home and said if she didn't feel better in a couple days fill the scrip. (this was kind in that he wanted to save us a trip back) However the paperwork that told the reason for the visit stated "sore throat, difficulty swallowing, and ear infection. We NEVER complained with her throat I even stated we were there b/c her glands/lymph nodes where so swollen it hurt to move her head! There was no mention of the glands in the report at all. Just concerned as to why they wouldn't do more investigating into that (blood work, flu test, etc. ) just to make sure it wasn't something else. Rather than send me home with a prescription for something that he said in the office he wouldn't even treat b/c it was bad enough and would clear on its own.

  Should not have trusted the reviews. Was told i had a "minor sore throat" and just needed to go home, drink more water and rest. If it still hurt after three days i should come back. I told the nurse practitioner that my insurance does not cover anything until i meet the deductible, and that i could not afford two urgent care bills. She kept with the same story as before, "minor sore throat", no big deal come back in three days if it was not better. I went to another family clinic down the road, and i was told that my throat was "severely" swollen and red, and that puss pockets were forming on my tonsils. Yep, that sounds "minor" alright. Was given a steroid shot, as well as TWO antibiotics. Oh, and thanks Peachtree Intimidate Care for the $327 bill for nothing.
